This is an absolutely beautiful place and enjoyable dining experience.
We came on a Tuesday afternoon, and got a seat by the window. It made me very appreciative to live in the Bay Area and to finally experience this place.
There is such historical value and aura here.
Now, onto bigger and better things - the food.
I got the burger and garlic fries - they were delicious! Everything was well-seasoned - not too much - not too little.
Plans in the future to try the other side - Sutro's Baths.
Parking was quite decent - which was a plus.
Overall, I had a great dining experience. -

1) The food is just terrible, like a 7-Eleven boxed Caesar salad would taste better than the one you pay $25 to get here.
2) The staff is just ok.
3) Prices are Uber Black, but the pick up is in a Prius. -

Food: 5 star
Service: 5 star
Comfort: 3 star- wicker chairs are not comfortable to sit in.
Service was great! Food was excellent. View amazing, then the fog rolled in. It gets pretty loud in here when it's packed, they have tile floors. They have uncomfortable wicker chairs. View was incredible. We had a 25 minute wait at 1pm on a Saturday. -

A historic location and iconic SF brunch place where celebs have enjoyed sea food here. Few days ago checked out this place on a weekday after visiting the Sutro Baths next door..another beautiful site:ruins that had 7 different types of heated pools by the ocean. Got seated quickly (hint - make reservations for window view at the counter and go visit Sutro's).
Great service and the guy serving appeared always smiling..ask for popover bread (yum). I tried one of their tap beers(blonde) wasn't great and asked for ale. Ordered calamari - good large portion for two. Portion size are big, so we split the shrimp pasta which was very delish! Friendly and quick service with a view! Going back to try other sea food dishes next. -

This place is beautiful, sitting on a cliff just above the water. On a normal day it will be quite foggy, windy and cold. But if you're lucky, it's the most gorgeous setting. They have a decent selection for breakfast ranging from eggs, bacon, fruit, potatoes, or even french toast. They're also quite famous for their "puffs" which are baked fresh for the table. Ours were white good. Try it with some of their strawberry marmalade and a bit of butter Pro tip: they also sell the mix if you want to make them yourself. The food was decent. No complaints there! Not bad, not great, just average. We sat down at the bar to avoid the 45 minute wait and our service was quite speedy. My biggest complaint would have to be the cost of the food.. $17 for french toast. Woof. Maybe that's just California but I'm more of a budget eater.
